What is your venue capacity?
Our venue can comfortably accommodate up to 299 guests.
Do you host other events besides weddings?
Yes, our venue can host other events in addition to weddings! Send us an email at info@roundbarnfarm.com to inquire.
Do you host events in the Winter?
Unfortunately, we do not host weddings November – April because we are primarily an outdoor venue & Minnesota winters are too unpredictable. We could accommodate retreats or other small group events in the Bed & Breakfast during the colder months.
What is included in the rental package?
Our rental package includes tables, chairs, basic lighting, yard games, 3 bonfire areas (one for s’mores), Ceremony Site with Bluff views, Reception Pavilion, Barn for dancing, access to our Bride and Groom Get Ready rooms. Although we do not offer wedding coordination services, provide a knowledgeable Site Manager that is available to assist with vendors, answer questions, clean and maintain the venue and help with any other venue related issues. You can be sure to relax and enjoy your day knowing that our team has everything under control! We do have great partners for wedding coordination- Just ask!
Can I bring my own vendors?
Yes, you’re welcome to bring your preferred vendors for photography, florals, DJ/Band and other services. We provide a list of our preferred vendors and deals they offer to our Booked couples! We have an exclusive catering arrangement with A’Britin Catering and they will contact you regarding food and bar service and discuss their packages. Catering and Bar fee is separate to our venue fee.
What is the damage deposit amount, and is it refundable?
The deposit amount is $1000. It’s required to secure the booking and is refundable after the wedding according to our policy outlined in the contract.
Can I tour the venue before making a decision?
Absolutely! We encourage all clients to schedule a tour with our team to see the venue in person and discuss your event needs.
Can I decorate the venue to fit my event theme?
Yes, you can decorate the venue to match your event theme and bring in your vendors of choice to help (besides Catering & Bar Service). Ask us regarding any major decorations or alterations to ensure they comply with safety and venue guidelines. We have great pictures and ideas to help!
What is your rescheduling or cancellation policy?
Our rescheduling and cancellation policies are outlined in the contract. Rescheduling is possible based on availability, for a small fee. Cancellations will result in a deposit forfeiture bsed on a pro rated schedule.
Parking?
We have a dedicated parking lot alongside the Pavilion and in the back of the pavilion for about 75-80 cars. Additional parking on site is also available for larger gatherings. We have two golf carts available to transport guests to ceremony site or to assist with transportation of disabled guests.
Bathrooms?
Bathrooms are in the first level of the Round Barn. They are handicapped accessible, heated and air conditioned depending on the season. Bridal party and overnight guests also have private restrooms at the Bed and Breakfast.
Handicapped accessible?
The Pavilion, bottom of barn, bathrooms, barn dance floor and Ceremony site are accessible by wheelchair. Golf cart assistance is also available for access to dance floor or ceremony site etc.
Is Catering and Bar exclusive at your venue?
Our Catering and Bar service with A’Britin is our only exclusive service. Having our exclusive catering and bar service from our trusted vendor is essential to ensure a seamless and stress-free experience for your special event. Our vendors have been carefully vetted and have proven to provide great service and outstanding quality. They know our venue well and have experience working with us This ensures your special day runs smoothly. They also clean up after dinner and bar service to remove and empty waste cans at the end of theservice. Our caterer and bar service vendors will work with you to create a personalized menu and bar selection that fits your vision and budget.
How many can stay at the Bed and Breakfast over night?
We have 5 overnight rooms at the B and B. 10 people can stay overnight if all rooms are rented. Additional cots can be added for 3 additional people if plans are made ahead of time. The Honeymoon suite is included in the venue package. 4 additional rooms are available.
What dates are available and is there a date hold option?
Click on our Request Info tab on our website under ” Weddings & Events” or simply send an email to info@roundbarnfarm.com to check available dates. Due to high demand, we do not offer a date hold option. In order to hold your date, we require a non-refundable retainer and signed contract.
