We are a locally owned wedding venue owner near Minneapolis and are also a Bed and Breakfast near Minneapolis.  We have had over 75,000 guest visits at our Farm wedding venue in Red Wing.  Wendy and Kirk have been married over 39 years and thought we would put together some of our favorite date ideas for a date night for some of our guests and engaged couples looking for ideas!

Explore some creative and budget-friendly date night ideas in and around the twin cities and surrounding areas.  There’s no shortage of unique options for quality time spent with your partner. Forget the old standby of dinner-and-a-movie!  Try some new options and get to know eachother in a new way.

1.  Shop at the Minneapolis Farmers Market or try one in Red Wing!
2. Go to a pottery class  Dont be afraid to try and make something beautiful!
3. Pick apples or berries at an orchard or local farm.   Apples in the fall or berries  in  July/August.

   

4. Go to a beach and watch a sunset

6. Gather some friends around a bonfire

   

7. Take a bike ride in a park or on a Bike Trail
